THE HOME OF CULTURE

WHO WE ARE

City Splash is a 30,000 festival that celebrates the impact of Caribbean and African culture in the UK and beyond; from the heritage of Roots, Dub and Dancehall to the birth of Jungle and Garage, right up to showcasing the most up-and-coming talent for today.

THE MUSIC

Reggae, Dancehall and Afrobeats influence on youth culture in London runs deep, the genres’ heartbeat rhythm and lyrics about love, redemption and natural living deeply affect fashions, lifestyles, friendships and unify strangers internationally. We believe such important genres, both musically and socially, deserve to be championed.

THE food

We partner with Black Eats LDN, the UK’s first and only Black-owned restaurant directory, to showcase a vibrant street food and market. 40 of London’s top Caribbean and African street traders set up in Brockwell Park to feed 30,000 people. As well as this, artisan businesses are invited to sell everything from fashion, beauty, arts, crafts and more.

THE FUTURE

2024 marks our fourth year, where we continue to pay homage to pioneering sounds that raised generations and create a space for our community to unite, connect and create history.

We are purveyors and advocates for Black music, food, dance and style.

City Splash; we, the home of culture.
